The Daily Press polled its online readers asking if the agree with the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to allow a private business (such as Hobby Lobby) to decline to offer certain types of insurance coverage (such as contraceptive birth control) to employees, based on the religious beliefs of the owners?
Of 160 respondents, the majority, 51 percent, or 83 voters, say they strong disagree with the decision. Forty-two percent, or 68 voters, strongly agree with the decision. Four percent, or six respondent, say they somewhat agree. Two percent, or three voters, somewhat disagree, and another 2 percent, or two voters are undecided.
