Popup Week at NSU

TAHLEQUAH — To explain its mission and to promote its upcoming fairs, Northeastern State University's Career Services held its “Popup Week” during which it handed out free popcorn and brochures to students.

“We took a popcorn machine around to different buildings on campus,” said Autumn Stafford, career events specialist. “We also let students know about the Internship Fair on Sept. 26 and our Career and Graduate School Fair at NSU-Broken Arrow on Oct. 2.”

Popup Week ran Sept. 23-25 and was a development of an idea tried during spring.

“In the previous semester, we tried to visit a different building once a month,” Stafford said. “Over the summer we had our big planning meeting and decided to adjust it a little bit.”
