OSU's Dike awarded 2 Big 12 soccer honors

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State freshman soccer player Courtney Dike has been named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Week.

Dike was selected Wednesday after scoring OSU's only goal in a 1-1 tie with Texas on Friday and providing an assist and two goals in the Cowgirls' 3-1 win Sunday over Missouri State.

OSU travels to Baylor for a game Friday then hosts the final regular season home game on Sunday against Kansas.

OSU baseball recruiting class ranked 4th best

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State's 2013 baseball recruiting class is ranked as the fourth best in the nation by Baseball America.

The ranking is the highest for OSU by Baseball America — which first ranked baseball recruiting classes in 2000.

The 2013 class is the first full recruiting class under second-year head coach Josh Holliday. The group includes 13 freshmen and five junior college transfers.
