The oddsmakers have Oklahoma as a 4.5-point underdog in the its meeting with Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl.
By my calculation, this will be the first time OU's been an underdog since the 2011 Bedlam game.
But what's really strange is the Sooners played Texas A&M from 1996-2011 as Big 12 rivals. OU went 11-5 in those games and has won eight of the last nine.
During that stretch was some of the most lopsided losses in Texas A&M history.
So, has something changed?
Well, the Aggies joined the SEC this year. That seems to be with several points when oddsmakers set the lines.
The nine SEC teams playing bowl games this year are all favored to win by the oddsmakers.
