The owner of a skid loader stolen during the past weekend is offering a reward for its recovery.
Sheriff’s Investigator Harold Thomas said Dick DeGeorge is offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for taking his Bobcat skid loader and front-end loader. Thomas said the items were taken from DeGeorge’s property east of Tahlequah, March 20-21. Anyone with information should contact Thomas at the sheriff’s office.
In an unrelated matter, sheriff’s deputies arrested Juan Casares, 38, after he allegedly hit Felicia Ketcher in the stomach several times. Ketcher is seven months’ pregnant, reports state.
Reports have been filed in connection with a pair of dog bite incidents. A 9-year-old boy was bitten below the nose on the right side of the face by a Boston terrier on Thursday while playing fetch with the animal.
A report has been filed concerning Raymond Jones’ being bitten by a shar pei in the web of his right hand March 11, when he tried to separate the dogs while they were fighting.
Two side windows were knocked out of a Chevrolet Suburban Monday owned by Copeland Auto Sales.
Jacqueline Aguilar said Friday that 208 trees she was growing were damaged.
Donald Wilder filed a report Monday, alleging the theft of pliers, hammers, a utility knife and other items.
Randall Holmes said money and a .22-caliber pistol were taken Monday.
Benjamin Berry said Monday firearms were stolen from his residence, as did Lenoria Hobbs.
Ashley Dickinson said a VCR in a new VCR box was stolen Monday.
William Smith said tools and a camera were stolen Monday.
Callen Addison reported saws, an air compressor, air hose and a ladder were stolen from a work site.
