Tahlequah police arrested a local man Monday morning for drunken driving.

Kristopher Elliott, 21, was booked by Officer Sam Jackson for DUI and driving while revoked after being stopped for running a stop sign at Water and Morgan streets.

Randalle Sanders, 28, was booked for domestic abuse after officers responded to a call Sunday morning of an assault. Brenda Dirteater was bleeding from a head wound when officers arrived, and blood was also coming from her mouth.

Sara Eberle told officers Sunday that someone has called her phone and left threatening messages.

Cody Youngblood spoke to officers Friday afternoon about an alleged shoplifting incident at Reasor’s. A black man with a small child took two packages of meat. The suspect paid for candles, but left the store, got into a vehicle and left the area.

Samantha Hornett, 37, was booked for DUI, transporting an open container and no insurance Sunday.

Jewell Thurmond said last Wednesday an intruder entered her home and took her medication. She has been taking Lortab for pain.

Jennifer Klimkowski said Sunday a thief took the tag from her vehicle.

Donna Bear and Dean Mouse told police Sunday an intruder tried to enter their home. Sgt. Leland Hamner arrived and arrested Kyle Hair, 22, for first-degree burglary and public intoxication. Hair was allegedly hit in the head with a piece of wood by Mouse after Hair gained entry to the apartment.

Bob Moon called police last Tuesday to report the theft of a Sawzall reciprocating saw from the front of his truck. The saw is red, silver and black and was in a red plastic case.

James and Darlene Hawzipta spoke to police Saturday about a burglary of the Tahlequah Laundry.

Melissa Sapulpa told police Saturday an intruder broke into her car and took a briefcase and wallet.

Trevor Crouch filed a report Saturday with police concerning a stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle is candy plasma blue and the front left signal and the left signal light was damaged.

Jamie Shankles called police Saturday to report she found her uniform lying on the ground next to the car. The stereo faceplate was gone and her ID from the Indian Capital Technology Center was taken.

Aiko Louie called police Friday to report an alleged assault.
