Sheriff's report for Sunday, May 11

— Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report Friday morning from a local man concerning a physical assault.
Michael Ryals said he was grabbed by the throat and shoved. The suspect also took a swing at Ryals.
In an unrelated matter, Delmer Smith said Wednesday his Polaris 4-wheeler, riding mower and two battery chargers were stolen.
