Tahlequah police were called Friday morning to the home of a 16-year-old girl concerning the theft of two pure white female Siberian huskies.
The dogs were taken from her fenced yard between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. They are 8 months old, and weigh approximately 40 pounds. Neeka has blue eyes and Inara has brown eyes. Owner information is on the dog collars.
In an unrelated matter, officers are investigating a forgery reported by Robert Channel. Channel told officers Thursday he received a letter from the bogus check office stating a warrant would be issued for his arrest, and some of his checks have been stolen. Reports state the checks have “irregular signature” stamped on them.
Daniel Roebuck filed a report Thursday stating his wallet, driver’s license, Social Security card and CDIB card were stolen.
Gilbert Taylor said his truck was hit by a chunk of asphalt in three places.
