Tahlequah police arrested a pair of Hulbert residents Monday on drug possession charges after answering a disturbance call at the Green Country Cinema.
Timothy Lamb, 24, and Heather M. Byerly, 18, were booked. Officers were told Lamb carried drugs in his vehicle, and consent was given to retrieve a pistol from the truck. Illegal drugs were found in the same location.
Four marijuana plants were seized Monday night after officers found them growing beside the porch of a home at Stepp Mobile Homes.
Sarah Hartley, 27, was booked for DUI drugs Tuesday after being stopped for driving left of center with her door open and not wearing her seat belt. After the traffic stop, she allegedly exhibited rapid, exaggerated movements, and gave unusual statements and responses to questions from the officer.
Officers were called to Carl’s Jr. Monday to take a report on a customer who passed two counterfeit $5 bills.
Michael Mahan said Tuesday his wallet and checkbook were stolen from his vehicle. A credit card was used to buy gas afterward.
Margaret Hance said Tuesday someone took her car battery from her vehicle.
Chantell Shumake said Tuesday someone took her Bank of America card and used it to make unauthorized phone calls.
