Sheriff's report for Thursday, Sept. 4 TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a stolen ambulance, reports state. Gideon Fire Chief Marty Kimble was at the fire station Monday when he noticed the old Tahlequah City Hospital ambulance was gone from the back of the station. He told deputies he checked with other firefighters to see if they knew what happened to the ambulance, which was being used for parts. No one knew the whereabouts of the ambulance. A push mower was also missing. Sarah Dallis told deputies Tuesday she was bitten on the leg by a man. She was being treated for the bite at TCH. Martin R. Perez, 46, was arrested for domestic abuse after allegedly hitting a 14-year-old girl in the face.
