Domestic dispute report lands Fort Gibson man in jail

TAHLEQUAH — Deputies of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Fort Gibson man after responding to a Sunday report of a domestic dispute in progress.

Deputy Travis Miller stated in his report that upon arrival at a residence on Highway 80, the parties had already been separated by a park ranger on the scene. Miller reported he spoke with Chansi Allison, 24, and noticed she had red marks on her face, chest and back. Allison said she was arguing with her boyfriend, Glenn Gene Allen, about minutes used on her phone, and Allen shoved her to the ground. She claimed he continued kicking her in the leg until she ran to her car. Allison said she found her car on a jack and that Allen had removed the tires from her car to keep her from leaving. She also said their 3-year-old child was in the home during the argument. Allen was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.

On Friday, an informational report was received from a Tahlequah woman who said she was the victim of cyberbullying.

A Tahlequah man visited the sheriff’s office on Friday to check the status of his complaints of illegal dumping and harassment, filed on May 22.

On Thursday, a Fort Gibson woman reported the theft of a book nook.

On Wednesday, a Tahlequah man contacted deputies to complain that his daughter was tampering with his mail.
