Deputies arrest home intruder

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Tahlequah man Wednesday after he allegedly entered a home without permission.

Jarrod Dwayne Hudson, 27, was booked for second-degree burglary and public intoxication.

Deputies said a woman arrived at her home and saw Hudson walk out drinking vodka. No one was home when Hudson entered the house, and the woman told deputies Hudson had not been given permission to be there. He allegedly became upset when the homeowners told him to leave, and ran away when deputies first responded.

Hudson later returned and was arrested, deputies reported.
