Police Beat: Man arrested at diner for trespassing, public intox

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a local man who allegedly trespassed at a business Thursday afternoon.

Jerry Batt, 53, was booked for trespassing and public intoxication. Batt had been told not to return to Boom-a-rang diner, but went back about 25 minutes later and began to yell at customers.

James T. Fay, 41, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was arrested Wednesday for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Chrystal Minks, 37, of Pryor, was arrested last week for shoplifting from Wal-Mart.

Johnnyray Miller, 20, of Tahlequah, was arrested Friday for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Nathan S. Linch, 23, of Hulbert, was arrested early Friday morning for driving under the influence and transporting an open container.

Police spoke to Malana Castillo Thursday when she said she was assaulted and her home was then burglarized.

Alexis Sixkiller filed an information report last week.

Connie Rowe filed a report last week about the unauthorized use of a debit card.

Charles Vance filed an information report Thursday.

Police on Thursday recovered a stolen vehicle that was taken from Economy Auto Rental.

Bonnie Duffield told officers Thursday that her apartment was burglarized.

Employees at Wal-Mart reported shoplifters who escaped before police arrived Thursday.
