Police Beat: Police pick up local man after his alleged shoplifting spree

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a local man Wednesday afternoon when he allegedly shoplifted from Walmart.

Christian J. Haney, 19, of Tahlequah, ran from the retailer and was later found hiding in Tractor Supply.

Chotke Haynes II, 23, of Tahlequah, was arrested Tuesday for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Karen Bunch, 55, of Stilwell, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly shoplifting from Walmart. Bunch allegedly tried to leave the store but claimed she was legally blind and was unable to leave. Other family members of Bunch had left the store when officers arrived.

Tamara Soto told police Wednesday about a tire being cut.

Barbara Hobbs told police this week she was threatened by a neighbor.

Oscar Flores reported another driver tried to run him off the road.
