Cell phones stolen

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies filed a report this month after students’ cell phones were stolen at Keys High School.

One boy reported his cell phone as stolen and deputies said the suspect was also found to have another student’s phone.

In other matters, Virgil Carter filed a report Monday after a company completing work on a boat attempted to charge him more than the bid price for the work.

Emily Frits spoke to deputies this week about the violation of a protective order.
