Home burglary reported

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report this week from a man whose home was burglarized.

Delbert Stanley said a man had visited the home and at some point apparently stole some medications. Stanley and his wife later discovered jewelry was also missing, including a ruby bracelet and necklace, and a ring, pendant and bracelet that are set in gold.

Lori Steffy spoke with deputies Tuesday about an electric fence being cut.

Lillian Dewberry told deputies she was assaulted by a man and later fell out of the back of a truck when he sped off. The man ran away before deputies arrived.

Anitra Pacheco filed a fraud report last week.

Joey Scnivner reported the theft of pipe and a wood stove Tuesday.

Terry Jones filed an information report this week.

Jeremy Crandall filed a theft report Monday.

Roy Cline filed an information report Tuesday.

Johnny Washington reported the theft of a 16-foot flatbed trailer this week.

Emily Frix told deputies she had friends over at her house, and she eventually fell asleep. When she awoke, the friends were all gone, and her TV, guns, and cell phone were all missing.
