Man reports being involved in hit-and-run

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police took a report Monday after a man said his vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run.

Donald Berry said his vehicle was parked in a parking lot when another driver struck the car, then left without providing any information.

Officers filed a report over the weekend after a caller said an autistic person had been locked outside of a home and was hitting himself. Police said they spoke with the person’s caretakers and learned the door was not locked.

John Yeutter filed a report this week after an intruder broke into his home.

Maria Salas spoke with police about a man who has refused to stop texting her. Salas said she has a protective order against the man.
