False name sparks arrest

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a city man Friday morning for obstructing an officer.

Joshua K. Mouse, 31, was booked into jail after allegedly giving police a false name.

Police took a report from Nathaniel Ray last week after a stolen motorcycle turned up on Craigslist. Police went with Ray to Walmart, where an exchange had been set up for the bike, and confirmed the motorcycle was stolen out of Tulsa.

Merrill Wasson reported the unauthorized use of a credit card Thursday.

Gary Duncan reported the theft of property Friday.

Raynette Gamble reported she was backed into by a vehicle at Scholars Inn and suffered some back pain from the incident last week.
