Man in jail for public intox, protective order violation

— A 20-year-old Tahlequah man was booked into jail Saturday when he allegedly violated a protective order.

Christopher Andrew Loveall was arrested by Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies after he allegedly followed Kathryn Adams and parked his vehicle behind hers, preventing her from leaving a store. Adams told deputies she has a protective order against Loveall. Deputies spoke with Loveall, who was allegedly unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech. He was arrested for violation of a protective order and public intoxication.

Jeremy Lance Labby, 21, of Rose, was arrested Sunday for obstructing deputies. Deputies said they were called to the area for a loud noise complaint, and Labby was uncooperative when asked to move his truck from a driveway onto his own property.

In other matters, county deputies filed a report Sunday after a 15-year-old girl said she was raped by a 16-year-old friend. Deputies spoke with both the victim and suspect and received conflicting stories, according to the report.

Deputies took a threats report Sunday from Dianne Flores.

Lillian Rhodd reported the theft of a purse from a vehicle last week.

Sandra Chavez reported a vandalism Friday.

Nicholas Renfro told deputies he was threatened recently.

Bradley Pillay reported the theft of items, including wire and appliances, last week.

Bobby McAlipine reported the theft of a Cub Cadet ZTR mower Friday.

Deputies took a report last week when a 4-year-old boy was bitten by a dog.
