Tahlequah police showed up at Walmart Tuesday morning when employees at the retailer discovered a teenager had been left at the store for hours.
Police said the 15-year-old girl had been at the store from about 6 p.m. Monday until 3 a.m. Tuesday. The girl was taken to the police department and later released to her stepfather.
