Moody’s man arrested for making threats


TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance Saturday and arrested a Moodys man.

Bradley Joe Mouse, 27, was booked for public intoxication, resisting arrest, threatening acts of violence, and threatening acts of violence to a police officer.

Mouse was allegedly intoxicated and refusing to leave a local residence. He reportedly had broken a door down while wielding a knife, then threatened to burn a house down. He allegedly resisted deputies when being arrested and then threatened the deputy’s life.

In other matters, Koleta Goss filed a report last week about someone shooting a gun near her home.

Janice Sloan this month filed an information report.

Josie Cleveland said she was threatened recently.

Tonya Sisson filed an assault report recently and said she was threatened.

Richard Sedwick reported a stolen license plate Saturday.

Kaylynn Sharp reported a breaking and entering Friday.

Tara Prock filed a report recently after a 13-year-old girl and others came onto Prock’s property and caused a disturbance by yelling, screaming, cursing, and throwing rocks. Deputies said they spoke to the girl’s parents, who said the teen was out of control. Deputies issued a citation to the teen.

Theresa Smith reported being threatened Friday.

Johnny Buford reported someone trespassing Thursday.

Jamie Macdonald reported theft of a pit bull dog Saturday.

Connie Singleton reported being intimidated Saturday.

Larry Dickerson said someone took a sign from his family’s front yard that reads “Happy birthday Jesus from the Dickersons.”
