Deputies take fraud report

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a fraud report last week.

Brittany Brown filed the report and said several years ago, while in Texas, she was a victim of fraud. She recently discovered she may still be a victim of identity theft.

Isaiah Goodrich filed a report last week after losing his bank card in the Keys area. Goodrich said the card was later used by a man at a Vian business.

Franklin Markwardt filed a threat report last week.

Ovon Fisher filed a fraud report recently.

Jessica Walters reported being assaulted last week.

Danny Shoemaker filed a vandalism report Thursday.
