Park Hill woman passes out, arrested

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Park Hill woman this week after she was found passed out in a vehicle at a convenience store in Keys.

Deputy Bob Lewandowski said an ambulance was called and arrived at the scene before deputies. Tammy Mischelle Treat, 43, refused to be transported by EMS. Lewandowski said Treat was unable to produce her identification, and was concerned only with driving home. She appeared to be shaking and had slurred speech.

Deputies claim treat was unable to follow simple instructions and could not perform a sobriety test. Treat was arrested for public intoxication of drugs and was booked into the county detention center. According to Lewandowski’s report, she told authorities she had only taken her morning medications.
