Police Beat: Woman reports assault

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police took an assault report last week on Morgan Street.

Kassandra Blackman reported the assault, and also said the suspect had stolen property. The stolen item was later returned by the suspect.

Employees at Wal-Mart called police Thursday afternoon when a small bag with a possible narcotic was found in the store.

Joanne Watson reported a possible identity theft last week.

Antonio Potts told police about a theft near Norris Park Thursday.

Kelli Swake, 22, was arrested Wednesday after allegedly shoplifting $13 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Jodie L. Feltner, 43, of Tahlequah was arrested Tuesday for allegedly leaving Wal-Mart without paying for items in her shopping cart. Police said a second suspect ran from the store.

Colin Downs filed a larceny report Wednesday.

Employees at AT&T on South College reported vandalism to the building this week, and said the suspects spray-painted the wall outside the building.

Police took a report from employees of Hit-N-Run Wednesday after a shoplifter fled in a vehicle. The suspect has been identified from store video, and a warrant request is being made. Police said the suspect stole candy bars.

Kipp Sands told police Wednesday about the violation of a protective order.
