Fort Smith man arrested for aggravated DUI

TAHLEQUAH — A Fort Smith, Arkansas, man was arrested Sunday after allegedly driving recklessly along the Illinois River.

Deputies said Bryan Joseph Privett, 31, admitted he had consumed four beers and “a few” mixed drinks before driving. He was eventually arrested for aggravated driving under the influence, but was given a charge of destroying county property when he allegedly became belligerent and broke a console inside a deputy’s truck.

David Lee Pack, 43, of Tahlequah, was arrested last week for two counts of domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and child abuse.

Jennifer Lynn Iadanza, 21, of Cookson, was arrested for public intoxication this week.

In other matters, Buddy Leonard Spradlin, 47, was arrested Saturday for domestic assault and battery.

Jonathon Dean Morgan, 30, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, was arrested for public intoxication Sunday.

Virginia Vann told deputies about a case of vandalism this week.

Carla Jumper filed a burglary report Sunday.

Kevin Yazzie reported the theft of a phone last week.

Cecil Kelly reported a cabin and garage were burglarized recently. A 32-inch TV, DVD player, pellet gun, air compressor, four-wheeler and other items were taken.

Andrew Peterson filed an embezzlement report last week.

Mandy Hixon filed a report over a child custody issue Friday.

Steven Springwater reported the theft of personal property over the weekend.

Kyle Lincoln filed a burglary report Sunday.

Janis Trevelyan reported being harassed Friday.

Jerome Gardner told deputies a white, two-door, 1991 Chevrolet truck, with Oklahoma tag number IO6-139, was stolen last week.

Mitchell Sisco told deputies a DISH Network account was established under his name, but he did not authorize the account.

Betty Botts filed a burglary report this week and said a Craftsman lawn mower was stolen, along with an edger/trimmer.

Jerrod Smith reported the theft of a 2014 blue and white Yamaha motorcycle this week.

Deputies took a report from Justin Copeland, of Copeland Auto Sales, when a distributor cap and battery were stolen from a vehicle last week.

Virgil Chuculate reported the theft of a flat screen TV from his apartment recently.

Courtni Johnson reported being assaulted this week.

Kenny Ray told deputies he caught a person attempting to steal a trailer and boat this week. The suspect fled in a black Dodge Ram after being caught.

Employees at the Log Store south of Tahlequah told deputies this week that they received counterfeit money.

Cassie Palmer filed a burglary report this week.

Tonya Self filed a burglary report.

Fred Hammick reported the theft of guns and tools recently. Firearms that were taken include a Ruger .223 military-style carbine, a Remington pump .22 with diamonds in the stock, a Browning 30-06 with a scope and wood stock, and a black Colt Cobra with wood grips.

Randi Bird told deputies a man wielded a knife and assaulted her with it during an argument recently.
