Stilwell pair arrested after traffic stop

TAHLEQUAH — Two Stilwell residents were arrested early Tuesday morning after a traffic stop near Muskogee and Ross.

Officer Tony Aguilar said the stopped a vehicle around 1:25 a.m. for driving without headlights. Lucas R. Taylor, 20, was arrested for driving under the influence, and 20-year-old Ashton D. Leach was booked for public intoxication, transporting an open container, and minor in possession of alcohol.

Calvin Deerinwater, 63, of Tahlequah, was arrested July 5 for no driver’s license, no insurance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.

Zachary D. Hamilton, 27, of Proctor, was arrested for DUI over the weekend.

Kenneth J. Vance, 23, of Tahlequah, was arrested Sunday for actual physical control second or subsequent offense.

Samuel H. Richison, 18, of Norman, was arrested last week for driving under the influence.

Officers spoke to Dorothyia Rostro Monday to report a hit-and-run crash.

Employees at Wal-Mart arrested a juvenile who tried to leave the store without paying for merchandise.

Eliza Simpson filed a threats report Monday.
