Man picked up for fleeing after assault on woman


TAHLEQUAH — A 26-year-old Tahlequah man was jailed Saturday after allegedly assaulting a woman and running away.

Brolin Ivey was booked for domestic violence after allegedly hitting Lachelle Heskett in the face. Witnesses told police of the incident, and Ivey was later found by police as he attempted to flee, according to Officer Shawn Presley.

Crystal Comfort, 25, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday for assault and battery.

Cornelio Gonzales, 19, of Tahlequah, was booked into jail Friday for public intoxication and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michah L. Mass, 18, of Hartshorne was arrested last week for public intoxication after police responded to a disturbance at Scholars Inn.

Quin Hall, 24, of Atoka, was arrested for driving under the influence Friday. Police said Hall’s vehicle left the road and Hall did not immediately stop for police, but instead led officers from the intersection of Park Hill Road and the east bypass to a residence on Rolling Hills Drive.

David Perez, 40, of Park Hill, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence and no driver’s license.

Rositta Dean spoke with officers Sunday about a juvenile who stole a bicycle and kicked over a grill.

Officers filed a report Saturday after a purse was recovered.

Mergim Shala told police Friday about a residential burglary.

Laura A. Wright told officers Saturday she was shoved in the back while at a local bar.

Police took a report recently after a woman’s cell phone was stolen and later sold to a local business.

Tonya Maritt told police Saturday about an argument that took place over a visitation and custody issue.

Marvin Bechtol reported a residential burglary Friday.

Steve Carey reported two stolen bicycles Friday.

Employees of Walmart spoke with police Saturday about a juvenile stealing items from the store. The juvenile was arrested by police.

Sarah Aguilar told police Monday that she was assaulted by a juvenile.
