Sheriff's Beat: Vandalism reported

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report recently after a couple of vehicles were vandalized.

Carol Maskers told deputies two vehicles were vandalized. Tires were slashed, a red liquid was poured on one vehicle, and key marks were made in the paint.

Angela Dodd filed a harassment report this week.

Sharon and Kevin Bright reported the violation of a protective order Sunday.

Deputies took a similar report from Bill Cecil.

Denise Knapp spoke to deputies Monday about illegal dumping of items in the Briggs area.

Bob Robertson reported the theft of a 16-foot flatbed trailer recently.

Dean Goss filed an information report last Friday.

Deputies filed a death-investigation report this week on Rocky Lee Sadler, 58, of Tahlequah. The manner of death is listed as natural.
