Sheriff's Beat - Attorney’s office burglarized


TAHLEQUAH — A Tahlequah attorney spoke with Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies this week after his office was burglarized.

A.J. Garcia said two laptops – a Gateway and an Acer – were taken by the unknown suspect. Screwdrivers that had apparently been used to pry open a door were left at the office, Garcia said.

Christen Pruet reported the theft of a 2005 Yamaha 350 Raptor four-wheeler recently. Pruet said the vehicle is a charcoal color with silver and maroon graphics on it.

Brandi Trammel filed an assault report this week, saying she was attacked by several women in the Woodall area in late May.

Romona Welch filed an information report Tuesday.

Lynn Thomas told deputies this week that a window at her residence was shot twice with a BB gun.
