Police arrest man for breaking gas pump

TAHLEQUAH — Police arrested a local man early Wednesday morning after he allegedly broke a gas pump when driving away from a convenience store.

Antonio R. Golden, 32, drove off from a gas pump at Love’s while the hose was still inside his vehicle, police said; the hose then broke. Police found Golden and conducted a traffic stop on Downing Street. He was arrested for driving while impaired, transporting an open container, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

In other matters, police spoke to Sherri Taylor last week after property was stolen from a vehicle.

Officers took a report this week after surveillance cameras at the city skate park were vandalized.

Thomas Bealer filed a burglary report Tuesday.

Anthony Morton filed a report last week about a suspect entering his residence without permission.

Jessica Coulter filed an assault report last week.

Frank Greenhaw filed a report last week after a glass door at Blackhawk Liquor was shattered, and alcohol was stolen from the business.

Teresa Bostater told police her dog was poisoned this week.
