Heat and air company reports copper missing


TAHLEQUAH — A heat and air company filed a theft report with police  Monday after discovering copper lines missing from a Stickross Mountain construction site.

Comfort Heat and Air told law officials that the copper lines were taken from the  site where the company had completed work. The report did not indicate the value of the missing property.

Hibbett Sports filed a theft report Dec. 11 to inform police a customer ran from the store without paying for merchandise. The report did not indicate a description of the suspect or the items taken.

Judy Bizzle spoke to police Tuesday to report that a vandal sliced the convertible top on her vehicle during the late hours of Dec. 17.

Tahlequah police responded to a report of a one-car rollover on Monday near the West Keetoowah Bypass. The investigating officer reported the vehicle was found in the ditch on its side. The vehicle’s owner was not at the scene, according to the report.
