Man arrested after brief pursuit

TAHLEQUAH — A Tahlequah man was arrested early Thursday morning after leading officers on a short pursuit.

Dillon Postema, 21, was booked on anticipated charges of driving under the influence, eluding police, taxes due state, affixing an improper tag to conceal identity, transporting an open container, giving false information to avoid prosecution, no driver’s license, and no insurance.

Sara Perkins, 21, of Tahlequah, was arrested Thursday for shoplifting at Walmart.

Officers arrested Brolin R. Ivey, 26, of Tahlequah, for domestic assault early Friday morning.

Garland Eden told police Thursday that a loading ramp was stolen from his place of business. Eden said he found the ramp at a scrap yard north of the city.

Judson Jamison reported that someone fraudulently used his credit card to wire a large amount of money to an unknown location.

Noelle Belmore reported several violations of a protective order last week.

Police issued citations for a social-host violation Friday after responding to East Allen Road on a noise complaint. Officers said a group of people ran into an apartment when police arrived, locked the door and turned the lights off.
