Woman nailed for shoplifting

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested local woman Saturday after she allegedly shoplifted from Walmart.

Ashley R. Pritchett, 31, of Tahlequah, allegedly concealed several items in a bag and left the store without paying. Officers transported Pritchett to the city jail, and allegedly found her to be in possession of a glass methamphetamine pipe, and several small plastic bags, one of which contained meth residue.

Pritchett was booked for larceny from a retailer, possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant for failure to compel a child to attend school.
