Sheriff's Beat - Disturbance nets arrest

TAHLEQUAH — Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Tahlequah man this week after a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex.

Adam Michael Carey, 24, was booked into jail for domestic assault and battery, public intoxication and trespassing. Deputies said Carey allegedly grabbed a woman by the hair and threw her onto the ground, causing her to hit her head on the floor. Deputies found Carey walking away from the residence and arrested him. Managers at the apartment complex had previously banned Carey from the property, according to deputies.

David Kulp filed a theft report Tuesday.

Carolyn Gerber filed an information report this week.
