Sheriff Report: Tahlequah woman arrested for assault on teen girl

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman Sunday when she allegedly assaulted a teenaged girl. Deena Irene Bell, 40, of Tahlequah, was booked for domestic assault and battery by strangulation and child abuse.

Janet M. Limpy, 39, of Tahlequah, was arrested last weekend for aggravated driving under the influence second or subsequent and possession of narcotics. Limpy allegedly had a breath-alcohol content of .21, and nearly struck a deputy head-on while driving on State Highway 82 South.

Kimberly Ducheswe filed a report last weekend when a 17-year-old boy cursed at her and threatened her.

Michell Johnson filed a threats report Saturday.

Sean Sweeney reported violation of a protective order Saturday.

Kipp Sands reported a protective order violation Saturday.
