Area man booked for DUI

TAHLEQUAH — Police arrested a Muskogee man Friday after a traffic stop near Muskogee Avenue and Fourth Street. Joshua T. Foster, 21, was booked into jail for driving under the influence.

Larry Welch, 18, of Tahlequah, was arrested  Thursday night after he allegedly took beer from a convenience store and fled in a vehicle. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested Welch. The beer was returned to the store.

Paula Hendricks filed a report with police Thursday after her cell phone was stolen.

Betty Teeney told police last week that $100 and a debit card were stolen from her house.

Steven Coffee spoke with police last Wednesday after a home burglary.
