Arrest made at point of dog’s nose


TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man early Saturday morning after a canine officer alerted on possible illegal substances inside a vehicle.

Natheon A. Jessie, 21, of Tulsa, was stopped for driving a vehicle with an expired tag. During the traffic stop, canine officer Bo alerted on the vehicle, and police found scales with marijuana residue, a glass pipe, and other paraphernalia.

Fletcher Ordean, 34, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday morning for driving under the influence after a traffic stop near Water and Morgan. Police said Ordean traveled left of center and continued into the oncoming lane.

Harold Wayne Vann, 57, of Tahlequah, was arrested last week for domestic assault and battery.

Kasey R. Sutton, 24, of Wagoner, was arrested Saturday for DUI.

Ruben Flores, 29, of Tahlequah, was arrested Friday for driving under the influence.

Jose Fuentes, 24, of Tahlequah, was arrested Saturday for DUI. Fuentes was stopped by police for failing to maintain lane of traffic.

Chance Aaron Wineberger, 25, was arrested earlier this month for domestic assault and battery by strangulation in the presence of a minor and violation of a protective order.

Charles Sneed last week reported a weed-eater stolen and said it was later found inside a Tahlequah pawnshop.

Robert McElhaney reported a fishing rod being stolen from his residence last week.

Melissa Fisher reported harassing phone calls Saturday.

Jennifer O’Daniel filed an information report Saturday.

James Masterson told police his vehicle was burglarized overnight Friday, but said nothing appears to have been stolen out of it.

A Tahlequah man was booked into jail Thursday evening after he drove his car off of a low-water slab. Theoplilus J. Mollie, 26, of Tahlequah, was arrested for driving under the influence. Police said Mollie’s car went off the edge of the low-water slab near Spring Street.

Steve Chaffin told police last week that a game was stolen out of his house and later sold to a local business.

John Lindsey reported the theft of a heavy-equipment trailer Wednesday.

Employees at Walmart met with police Friday morning to turn over marijuana that was found inside the store.

A teen girl spoke with police last week about a woman harassing her and wanting to fight her.
