Sheriff's Beat: Man arrested for obstruction

TAHLEQUAH — County sheriff’s deputies arrested a local man last week for obstructing officers during an investigation.

Deputies said they spoke with Gary Lee White, 34, when he went to an apartment at Garden Walk and confronted family members of a woman he believed had stolen his gun. White was banned from the apartments and became confrontational toward site managers.

Dale Tildon Rose-Richardson, 21, of Hulbert, was arrested Sunday for threatening acts of violence, resisting arrest and attempting to elude. Deputies said they were investigating an assault when they learned Rose-Richardson was being sought on a warrant. He allegedly refused to come out of his house and ran out a back door and into a camper trailer. Rose-Richardson allegedly kicked officers and struggled with them as he was being arrested. Deputy Daniel Pruitt said Rose-Richardson later threatened to find Pruitt, break his jaw, “hurt” him and make him “meet [his] maker.”
