Police Beat: Man arrested for DUI

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police made an arrest early Tuesday morning after a traffic stop at Fifth and Basin.

Police said Ryan J. Mouse, 22, of Tahlequah, traveled left of center after leaving a local club. He was booked into jail for driving under the influence.

Michael S. Girdner, 31, and Darah L. Glass, 25, both of Vian, were arrested Monday for allegedly attempting to leave Wal-Mart without paying for store merchandise.

Officers also arrested a juvenile Monday evening when he placed merchandise in his pocket and left Wal-Mart without paying.

Police filed a report early Tuesday morning when a woman turned in a wallet and $523 she found on the side of the road.
