Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Tahlequah man Thursday when he allegedly wielded knives and lunged at several people.
Justin Duane Kempf, 29, was held for domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and threatening to perform an act of violence. Witnesses said Kempf was asked to shower and later became upset.
At some point, Kempf allegedly grabbed knives and began lunging at people who were present. He eventually dropped them and walked away from the home. Deputies found him and asked what had happened, and Kempf allegedly said he was tired of others telling him what to do.
