Police Beat: Tahlequah man arrested for DUI

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man early Tuesday morning after he allegedly drove a vehicle into the wrong lane, where an officer was driving.

William T. Drain, 29, of Tahlequah, was booked into jail for driving under the influence. Officer Pam Bell said she had to swerve to avoid hitting Drain when he moved into her lane of traffic.

Antonio Potts, 26, of Hulbert, was arrested Sunday for shoplifting a cap at Walmart.

Johnathen Oropeza, 18, of Tahlequah, was arrested last week for shoplifting a watch, clothes and a DVD from Walmart.

Janae D. Zuniga, 25, of Stilwell, was arrested last week for shoplifting at Walmart.

Nina M. Woodrow, 50, of Tahlequah, was arrested on alcohol-related charges after a traffic stop Saturday morning.

Lori Walker told police Monday her wallet was stolen from a truck.

Aaron Christian told police Monday that a moped was stolen from Scholars Inn.

Carolyn Waterfallen spoke with police Saturday after a neighbor’s vehicle slipped out of gear and slid downhill through a fence.

Officers spoke with Lori Scott last weekend after her debit card was used without permission in North Carolina.

Employees at Tahlequah Public Works Authority called police last week when a customer became angry and threatened to blow up the local utility authority.
