Sheriff's Beat: Welling man arrested when dispute gets physical

TAHLEQUAH — A 30-year-old Welling man was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday after an argument allegedly turned physical.

Michael W. Loudermilk was booked into jail for domestic assault and battery. Loudermilk allegedly threw a phone, and the phone struck Zeola Miller in the head, injuring her.

Michael Parker told deputies recently about a stolen firearm. Parker said he believed he had misplaced his 22-caliber SIG Mosquito gun during deer season, but he has since been unable to find it and believes it was stolen.

Carl Childers filed a report this week about the theft of medication.

Betty Botts filed a threats report Wednesday.

Ronny Fort told deputies a boat was stolen from his pasture Thursday.

Deputies took a report from a 20-year-old woman Thursday who said she was at a party when a drunk man made unwanted advances toward her. At some point, he tried to put his hand down the front of her shirt.
