Sheriff's Beat: Man reports being threatened

TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies spoke to a man this week who said he was threatened by another man.

David Finch said the man also beat on his door several times with a large stick, leaving behind dents; and tore the door off of its hinges.

In other matters, deputies spoke to Penny Buckley this week after Buckle’s storage building was burglarized.

Joe Stith filed an information report this week.

Shelly Shankles reported being threatened this week.

Elena Huffman told deputies about property in her dance studio being damaged recently.
