TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Monday who allegedly trespassed at Garden Walk Apartments.

Adam Michael Carey, 23, of Tahlequah, had previously been banned from the apartment complex, and had signed a document acknowledging he would be arrested if he returned to the property after he was banned.

Deputies this week filed a report on the June 18 arrest of Tyler Dean McClure, 18, of Muskogee, who was allegedly found slumped over behind the wheel of a vehicle that was parked in the road at South 370 Road and County Line Road. McClure told deputies he was “just sleeping” and had recently been released from jail in Gore after an arrest for public intoxication, a report says. Deputies recovered a package of synthetic marijuana out of McClure’s vehicle, and he was booked into jail for actual physical control.
