Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a report earlier this week after a man said he was robbed of a truck.
Allen Woodard said an intoxicated man who was at Woodard’s home began to argue with a woman and decided to walk away from the home. Woodard later awoke to a banging at his door, and the suspect was standing outside with a metal pipe, demanding Woodard’s vehicle keys. The suspect had shattered two windows on the truck and left with the vehicle. Deputies later found the truck at the suspect’s house, but could not get anyone to answer the door. The truck was returned to Woodard.
