Vehicle reported stolen

TAHLEQUAH — A Locust Grove woman spoke to sheriff’s deputies June 13 to report that her inoperable vehicle had been stolen. Willa Blakely said her 1992 blue Chevy four-door Cavalier, which has a taped driver-side headlight, broke down on East 626 Road. It was gone when she returned two days later to retrieve the vehicle.

Eugenia Smith filed a domestic abuse report June 13. Smith said a known suspect accused her of cheating with a mutual friend, and took Smith’s cell phone, accusing her of receiving text messages from the mutual friend. Smith said the suspect hit her in the head with the cell phone and knocked her into the wall, which caused her nose to bleed. The investigating deputy reported observing a red area on Smith’s forehead and along the bridge of her nose.

Teressa Wilson reported embezzlement June 12. Wilson said a known suspect, who is also her employee, made a charge of $50.55 to her Bank of America Visa card June 19 without authorization. The charge was made to Straight Talk for cell phone air time. Wilson said she withheld the amount of the charges from the employee’s paycheck.

E.B. Hughes filed a vandalism report June 13. Hughes said a known a suspect, who is a renter of the property vandalized, broke out windows of the mobile home on South 523 Road. Hughes reported she discovered the refrigerator missing from the residence, and observed lying on a coffee table what appeared to be drug paraphernalia and roaches, or marijuana cigarette butts, in an ash tray.
