Gun theft reported

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police took a report this week of a stolen firearm.

Jordan Lechner said his .22-caliber pistol is missing. Lechner gave police a possible suspect.

Joshua Maxwell reported a stolen lawn mower Tuesday.

John Yeutter told police this week a residence was burglarized after its door was kicked in. Yeutter said electronic items and guns were stolen from the residence.

Employees at Big B called police Tuesday morning after a woman entered the store, took a 30-pack of Bud Light and a 30-pack of Budweiser, acted like she was going to pay for it, but ran out the door and jumped into a truck that sped away. Officers said the truck was later found, but no one was inside, and the beer was also gone.
