TAHLEQUAH — Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies took a vandalism report from a local pastor last week.

Kermit Mullin, who pastors the Light House Church, said vandals have recently broken walkway lights, shattered a church bus window, tampered with a storage building and thrown a piece of concrete at a church building window.

Jennifer Schnitzer spoke with deputies Thursday about a vehicle burglary. The suspect took an iPhone 4, Kindle Fire, and car keys. Her purse was found in a wooded area.

Jerry Brown reported the theft of a Garmin GPS after a vehicle burglary recently.
