Police Beat: Park Hill man arrested after traffic stop

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah Police Department officers arrested a Park Hill man on Friday after a traffic stop.

Christian Hooper, 23, was pulled over near the intersection of Ross Street and Cedar Avenue. The police report states Hooper was stopped due to defective brake lamps, and that he was arrested on unspecified drug charges and driving under suspension.

On Friday, a man visited the station to report an argument with a neighbor about parking in the 100 block of Brewer Avenue.

Police visited Game X Change at 1800 S. Muskogee Ave. on Friday to check on a report of recovered stolen property.

Also on Friday, a woman reported to police that she was receiving harassing phone calls from her ex-boyfriend.

On Monday, police responded to a report at Big B’s at 1100 E. Downing Street of a woman in a black jacket stealing two packs of strawberry wafer cookies.
