Police arrest man after traffic stop

TAHLEQUAH — Tahlequah police arrested a man Tuesday evening after a traffic stop near Park Hill and Ballentine roads.

Kyle D. Stick, 33, of Tahlequah, was arrested for driving under the influence second or subsequent.

Police on Wednesday arrested a 14-year-old after a short vehicle pursuit. Officers said the teen was booked for attempting to elude, resisting arrest, driving without a valid driver’s license, and curfew violation.

Joshua L. Montgomery, 33, of Tahlequah, was arrested Tuesday for public intoxication, resisting arrest and threatening act of violence.

Officers spoke to Ella Jones Tuesday when she filed a report about racial remarks made toward her and a friend while they were standing outside.

Gregory White spoke to police Tuesday about being assaulted.
